Goji Kitchen sits on Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa as a casual yet lively spot where Asian flavors—especially Chinese and Thai—come together in generous portions ideal for both takeout and relaxed dine-in meals. This restaurant serves up a diverse menu with highlights like house-made pot stickers, vegan steamed flat rice rolls, and robust noodle soups, making it a solid pick for anyone craving comfort food with authentic Asian twists.

The space balances indoor and outdoor seating, which tends to fill up during busy evenings. It leans toward a no-frills atmosphere; expect some background noise from a well-populated dining room rather than hushed quiet. This makes it a good place for casual family dinners or group meals where the focus is less on hushed conversation and more on enjoying straightforward, flavorful dishes.

Regulars and newcomers alike appreciate the attentive service—you’ll often find staff ready to guide you through the menu or suggest popular items like the walnut prawns or BBQ pork steamed buns. The presence of specials, sometimes noted on a chalkboard outside, can add a fun element of discovery if you have the chance to catch them.

The menu covers a range of tastes and dietary preferences, from spicy lemongrass chicken and Mongolian beef to veggie-forward options like organic tofu with fresh garden vegetables. Those looking for a lighter bite often gravitate toward fresh vegetable rolls or green papaya salad with roasted almonds, all pairing well with the house-crafted organic ginger tea or a refreshing whole young coconut juice.

Goji Kitchen fits best for those who want a reliable meal with genuine flavor over the fuss of fine dining. Whether it’s a quick lunch break, a casual dinner with friends, or a family outing, it serves up hearty portions that satisfy larger appetites. The place can get bustling, making early evening or weekday visits a bit more relaxed if you prefer a quieter vibe.

Overall, Goji Kitchen reflects the diverse Asian culinary landscape of Santa Rosa with approachable, tasty choices and a welcoming atmosphere that’s distinctly local.

This little place was a surprise. The waiters are quick. And know the menu.but could know a bit about telling about the specials that were written on a blackboard outside but not really in view. There is indoor and outdoor seating. And Riva came by our table towards the end with a great personality checking on how the meal was. And other recommendations. I will go back again Side bar the Pot Stickers are huge and delicious. I had the G3 w Thai iced tea

Exactly what we hoped and expected. The atmosphere is average, the room was pretty noisy. But the staff is extremely friendly. We came for the pho and were not disappointed: the broth was very flavourful, the vegetable fresh, and the portion was quite big. What we saw on the other tables seemed to be from the same mold: big portions, very good smell.

My husband was super hungry and craving for something quick and tasty , as we were browsing through google we saw this restaurant and decided to check it out , we only got to eat the appetizers here , cause we were so full after eating the rolls . I loved the rolls fresh vegetables and perfect hint of mint leaves with their magical sauce and the Prawn stuffed free range chicken wings were awesome , it’s crispy and huge . I also ordered the Whole young coconut , it was super chilled, sweet water and had a thick layer of coconut flesh . We so wanna come back and eat here again. There’s plenty of outdoor seating and Indoor seating, clean tables and friendly staff .

Overall a good experience eating here with the family. Most of the food was delicious and flavorful. The walnut prawns are to die for! I can’t say the same about the Mongolian beef, that one lacked spice and flavor. The spring rolls also aren’t that great… I would certainly come back in the future though !
